What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to provide and operate JobGryd:
- Account data: your email address and authentication identifiers (used to create and manage your account).
- Application tracking data: information you choose to add to the Service (e.g. company, role, status, dates, notes).
- Technical/usage data (limited): basic logs necessary to secure and run the Service (e.g. error logs, IP addresses processed by our infrastructure providers).
We do not sell your personal data.
How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To store, display, and help you manage your job applications.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To communicate with you about account-related matters when you contact support.
Legal bases (GDPR / EU)
If you are in the European Economic Area, we process personal data based on:
- Contract performance: providing the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests: securing, operating, and improving the Service.
- Consent: only where required (for example, for non-essential cookies if we add them in the future).
Infrastructure and data processors
We use the following third-party services to operate JobGryd. These companies act as data processors on our behalf and process your data only as instructed.

Your personal data is stored within the European Union. We do not transfer your data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and security (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not use marketing or analytics cookies at this time.
Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will action your request within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request data portability
