Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JobGryd (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your content

You may input content into the Service, such as job application details, notes, and uploaded files ("User Content").

  • You retain full ownership of your User Content.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and process your User Content solely to provide and operate the Service.
  • We do not use your User Content for any purpose beyond operating the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or deceive others.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time.

If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email and give users the opportunity to export their data where technically possible before shutdown.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • For material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
  • Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • JobGryd is an organisational productivity tool. We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, responses from employers, or any specific outcomes from use of the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting us at hello@jobgryd.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or if necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. Where possible, we will notify you before taking such action.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

EU online dispute resolution

The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumers in the EU: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but you are entitled to use this platform.
